Big West Championships Day Four - Northridge Men, Women Finish Sixth at Big West Championships |

Despite courageous efforts on both sides, the Matadors settled to sixth in both the men's and women's championships after the fourth and final day of competition in Long Beach. Emre Celik wrapped up his Northridge career by going fourth in the 200 backstroke, and Jeff Hart finished tenth his final race as a Matador.

Big West Championships Day Three - Matadors Become Top Ten Mainstay |

On day three of the Big West Swimming and Diving Championships, the Matadors made leaps in several events posted several top ten finishes, led by Emre Celik's fifth-place in the 100 back. The Matadors also set several season- and career-bests in one of their top collective efforts of the season.

Women's Swimming:
Big West Championships Day Two - Hart's Eighth Place Leads Matadors |

Jeff Hart finished eighth in the 50 freestyle at a time of 21.11, giving the Matadors their first individual top-ten of the championship, and the Matadors continued their run at the Big West Swimming and Diving Championships in Long Beach. Hart's preliminary time of 20.75 was the team's best of the season and moves him into seventh on the all-time list.
