The fourth-ranked USC women’s water polo team is tough to beat at home. For the 42nd straight time at the McDonald’s Swim Stadium, the Trojans recorded a victory, this time over 14th-ranked Cal State Northridge on Saturday afternoon in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) game.

The nationally-ranked Cal State Northridge water polo team split two games during second day action on Sunday at the UC Irvine Invitational. The Matadors beat UCSB, 8-7, but later in the day, lost to Michigan, 6-5.

The 17th-ranked Cal State Northridge water polo team continues play on Sunday at the UC Irvine Invitational with a 10:30 a.m. game against UC Santa Barbara at Corona Del Mar High School. The Matadors lost both games on Saturday, both 12-4 decisions to top-ranked UCLA and eighth-ranked Arizona State.
