Despite 21 points and eight rebounds from senior Katie Holloway, the Cal State Northridge women’s basketball team lost, 65-61, Saturday night to UC Irvine at The Matadome. Two other Matadors finished in double figures, as junior Ashley Blake and Whitney Ligon each scored 10 points in the defeat.

The Cal State Northridge women's basketball team fell, 55-45, to Cal State Fullerton Thursday night at The Matadome. Junior Whitney Ligon led the Matadors with 16 points while senior Katie Holloway added 14 points and nine rebounds.

The Cal State Northridge women’s basketball team (1-22, 0-12 BWC) will host its final home games of the season this weekend, welcoming Cal State Fullerton on Thursday and UC Irvine on Saturday for a pair of 7 p.m. games. On the cusp of her final games in a Matador uniform, senior Katie Holloway stands on the brink of capping a very successful career with several more milestones.
